He died in 1741 at the age of 74 in Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George County, Maryland, USA. Samuel was a member of the vestry of Queen Anne's Parish an d in 1710 he was fined for non-attendance at the vestry ses sions. He died testate in 1742. His will, dated January 11 , 1741/2, was admitted to probate in Prince Georges County , on March 24, same year, by David Watson, Joseph Peach, an d Robert Kunstuble. He bequeathed 5 shillings each to hi s daughter - Elizabeth Tyler, Susannah Falconar, and Esthe r West. To his daughter, Lucy Forrest, he divised 100 acre s of land, but in the event that she died without issue, th en to Lucy's daughter Elizabeth. And in the event that hi s granddaughter Elizabeth died without issue then to her si ster Lucy Forrest, but in the event that there were no heir s of the body of his daughter Lucy Forrest, then to his gra ndson Samuel Duvall Beck. William Forrest, the husband of h is daughter Lucy, was to have a life interest, however. T o his daughter, Rachel Butts, he bequeathed 10 pounds. Th e dwelling plantation of 212 acres were divised to his gran dson, Samuel Duvall Beck. He named his grandsons, Samuel an d Edward Tyler, and his son in law James Beck as the execut ors. His personal estate was inventoried by Richard Isaa c Sr. and Rignall Odell and appraised at 277 pounds, 2 shil lings and 7 1/2 pence. William Forrest and Richard Butt, id entified as sons in law, approved as kinsmen, while Benjami n Jacob signed for the creditors, namely, Osborn Sprigg an d Phil Hammond. James Beck, the executor, filed the paper s on June 23, 1742, Samuel and Edward Tyler having renounce d all rights to executorship. An additional inventory take n on July 19, showed an appraisement of 39 pounds, 6 shilli ngs and 6 pence. A subsequent account reported disbursemen ts to the following heirs of the deceased: susannah wife o f Alexander Falconar; Esther wife of William West; Elizabet h Tyler; Lucy wife of William Forrest; and Rachel wife of R ichard Butt. A balance of 133 pounds, 12 shillings, 8 penc e remained. Elizabeth IJAMS and Samuel DUVALL were married on 18 July 1697. 983. Elizabeth IJAMS4 was born in 1675 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, BCA. She was buried in 1741 in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Baltimore City, Maryland, BCA. She died Y on 8 November 1741 at the age of 66 in Prince George County, Maryland, BCA.
